THE INCREDIBLE HULK...OPENS TONIGHT!

Sitting in my comfy theater seat eager to view Ironman, Marvel’s 1st edition of comic superheroes, a trailer for the upcoming Incredible Hulk proceeds the feature film. As the trailer begins I become hesitant which Hulk will be portrayed this time. The Lou Ferrigno television classic I grew up watching or the more recent 2003 movie version which did so little to grab my attention, that I fell asleep half way through. I questioned why Marvel would choose to unveil another edition of Hulk so soon when other Marvel heroes such as Captain America and Thor are waiting in wings for their story to be told.

I am optimistic Hulk’s metamorphosis from the 2003 flop to the 2008 editions can keep Marvel’s most recent movie success rolling. I hope the 2008 Incredible Hulk edition will not irritate me with another poor rendering of a comic classic. As Banner explains, “You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.”

Here are some reviews by some of the country's best nerds as well as some links other fun Hulk related links...
